About Scarlet Moon Exotics
I have dedicated my personal passion to the breeding and preservation of some of the most unique and geographically distinct Boa localities, including Honduran Firebellies, Panamanians, Liberian Costa Ricans, and several other rare and highly sought-after lineages. Over the years, I have collected animals with fully traceable linages and therefore all of my animals are verified for purity unless being apart of my Hybrid line.
While boas remain the central focus of my work, my interests extend to a broad range of other, less commonly kept species. I have had the privilege of working with rare and unconventional snakes, including species such as mock vipers and other unusual colubrids and pythons, with the aim of bringing attention to species that are often overlooked in the hobby. I am deeply committed to studying their behavior, husbandry requirements, and natural history, with the goal of sharing that knowledge with the broader herpetological community.
My approach to working with these animals is rooted in both conservation and education. I strive to demonstrate the natural beauty, ecological importance, and behavioral complexity of species that are often misunderstood or undervalued. Whether through breeding programs, public engagement, or collaborative projects with other dedicated herpetologists, I aim to ensure that these snakes are appreciated not just for their aesthetic qualities, but for their role within their native ecosystems.
